Chai Cleanse is your way to clean out the gut, support the liver, and take care of your body all while enjoying delicious flavors! This blend contains a fermented and aged tea called pu'erh that comes from China. This tea can help clear excess fats in the blood from a heavy meal, promote a healthy digestion, and fill your gut with healthy bugs. The earthy and hearty flavors of pu'erh boast well with the roasted dandelion and ashwangandha roots. Dandelion root has been shown to support healthy liver function by aiding bile production and enhancing the natural detoxification pathways of the liver. In combo ashwangandha is a powerful adaptogenic herb that will balance cortisol levels and support healthy hormonal functions. To top it off, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves not only add a delicious spice to the tea, but also support digestion, stabilize blood sugar levels, and provide healthy nutrients to our guts and bodies!

I have found it is best to consume this tea about 30 minutes after a heavy meal or when you wake up after a night of indulgence (be it alcohol, food, or a little bit of both)!

To brew this tea simply bring your water to 212F (100C), pour over 1 tsp of the blend, steep for 5 minutes, filter, and enjoy! You can resteep this tea up to 3 or 4 times depending on your taste preference.

We care about sustainability and quality! We always choose to provide loose leaf for many reasons:
- Loose leaf is the traditional way of consuming tea and we choose to honor that.
- Loose leaf contains zero microplastics like many tea bags do.
- Loose leaf is more sustainable for the earth as it can be resteeped multiple times, composted easily, and contains no excess packaging.
- Loose leaf is higher quality tea and provides deeper, bolder, and truer flavors unlike tea bags.
